Occupancy and Accommodations

Each unit is limited to the number of persons indicated on your confirmation. Exceeding the maximum amount of people allowed by the agreement may result in eviction from the property at the manager’s discretion.
The apartments managed by Playa Rental Properties are privately owned and furnished by the owner. Stereos, extra beds, or televisions are not standard equipment. Playa Rental Properties will NOT be responsible for providing additional items required by your party.

Cleaning

Your accommodations will be cleaned prior to your arrival.

• Maid Service is NOT included during your stay but is Available for an additional charge of $40.00 USD (2 bedrooms) and $50.00 USD (3 bedrooms) per cleaning. Villas, please ask.
• Cleaning service is not available on Sundays, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
• PETS are NOT allowed in any of the accommodations.

Safety

You are responsible for the property and its contents at all times during your visit. It is your responsibility to make sure all doors and windows are secure and locked before leaving the unit, even if it is for just a quick stroll down the street. These few extra steps will ensure the security of your belongings.

Keys, Lock Box

Some of our units are equipped with a lock box installed next to the front door. Please do not remove the key from its chain and put the top part back on after you use it.

• $75.00 US will be charged if the top part of the lock box is either lost or damaged.
• $10.00 US per key if keys are not returned at the end of rental date.

Reservations

To confirm your reservation, a 50% payment of total rental rate plus a 5% service charge must be received within 7 days of booking. The balance of 50% is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your unit.

Holiday Season Reservations

• 100% of total rental rate plus a 5% service charge is due after acceptance of reservation.
• Total payment must be received within 7 days of booking.
• Cancellation of Christmas and New Year’s bookings are subject to 100% surcharge regardless of time of cancellation.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be effective on the date a written notice is received by email in our office. Playa Rental Properties will process refunds within two weeks in a form of a check in US Dollars. All cancellations are charged a minimum $100.00 US administrative fee.

• 90 days prior to arrival – forfeit 25% of full rental amount
• 61 – 90 days prior to arrival – forfeit 50% of full rental amount
• 31 – 60 days prior to arrival – forfeit 75% of full rental amount
• Less than 30 days prior to arrival – forfeit 100% of full rental amount
• Christmas and New Year’s weeks – forfeit 100% of full rental amount
